April: The top of the town finally reopens after a stunning revamp. The pond will have new foliage, lights and a bridge, & be a home for ducks and fish, and possibly, the town’s heron.

June 19th – 29th Imagine Watford,The Parade 
Flagship arts festival combining internationally acclaimed theatre companies and cutting edge performance art. This year’s line up includes independent artists commissioned by The Palace Theatre and the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, dance from Les Miserables’s chorographer Kate Flatt, and performances from the brilliant Tiata Fahodzi, an African-British theatre company. Imagine Watford inspires young people to take part in the arts, and this year festival will also feature a unique production by young producers aged 16-25

July 25 to August 2, Love Parks Week 
Cassiobury Park and Whippendell Woods
A national event happening all over the country to celebrate our green spaces and parks. The family activities include heritage cycle rides, volunteering opportunities, storytelling, children’s activities and taster sports sessions. The grand finale, a musical concert on Cassiobury Park, adjacent to Cha Cha Cha café, happens on Saturday August 2.

October: October 31, Halloween Party 
Cassiobury Park
The journey to the underworld starts in Cassiobury Park and proceeds to Whippendell Woods. Enjoy husky dog rides, and hear spooky tales of Cassiobury Park.

November: November 1, Fireworks! 
Congregate in Cassiobury Park for a fabulous fireworks display.

December: December 7, Christmas at Cassiobury 
Cassiobury Park, near the Bowls Club.
Santa arrives on Husky Dog sled. Join him in Santa’s grotto and make Christmas decorations for the kids.
